Transcarga obtained its certification as Venezuelan Air Transport Operator in 2001, afterwards in 2002 obtains permit 402 from the Department of Transportation of the United Status of America to operate under a Wet Lease to and from USA, providing employment to Venezuelan pilots
Since its incorporation, the company has made efforts in maintaining the highest quality standards in its domestic and international cargo transportation service. This service has been aimed at small and middle Venezuelan producers, from a domestic level to their exporting needs for perishable products as fish, shellfish, vegetables, fruit, flowers, etc. Another key segment is the package, documents and mail transportation service.
Transcarga Intl. Airways at present is under a re-certification process of the 135 RAV for Passenger Specialized Flights (Executive Flights) under our Maintenance Standard and Crew Certification.
Also on recent date, Transcarga Intl. Airways acquired a Cessna 402B aircraft with 5 passenger capability. Said aircraft shall be available for Domestic and Carribbean Islands flights.
