History

    Julio Márquez Biaggi, a Venezuelan businessman, Ex-VIASA/KLM Captain and son of one of the Operation Directors of VIASA decided in 1.998 to establish a Corporation using the name TRANSCARGA to which Luis Felipe Ayala V., financial expert joins in.

    Transcarga Intl. Airways, C.A., is a Venezuelan airline whose principal economic activity is the regular cargo transportation. This company begins operations in Venezuela in 1.998, with 100% Venezuelan capital. Transcarga obtained its certification as Venezuelan Air Transport Operator in 2001, afterwards in 2002 obtains permit 402 from the Department of Transportation of the United Status of America to operate under a Wet Lease to and from USA, providing employment to Venezuelan pilots.

    Since its incorporation, the company has made efforts in maintaining the highest quality standards in its domestic and international cargo transportation service. This service has been aimed at small and middle Venezuelan producers, from a domestic level to their exporting needs for perishable products as fish, shellfish, vegetables, fruit, flowers, etc. Another key segment is the package, documents and mail transportation service.

    Presently Transcarga Intl. Airways, is providing its services to important companies as: Servicio Panamericano de Protección, DHL Fletes Aéreos, Federal Express, UPS, among others.
